Terms of Service

Effective date: 19 June 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Owambe Planner mobile app and related services (the “Service”) provided by Owambe Planner (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Using the Service

Owambe Planner helps planners and vendors plan events, discover services, communicate, and manage quotes and invoices. You shall use the Service lawfully and shall not:

4. Vendors, Bookings & Payments

Owambe Planner is a platform that connects planners and vendors. Agreements, bookings, quotes, and payments for event services are made directly between planners and vendors. We are not a party to those agreements and are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of any vendor’s services. You are responsible for verifying details before transacting.

5. Subscriptions

Some features are available through a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are subject to their terms. Prices, billing periods, and any free trial are shown before you purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (such as listings, photos, and messages). You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process that content as needed to operate the Service. You are responsible for the content you share and you shall not submit content that infringes another person’s rights, violates any law, or exposes private information without permission.

7. Identity Verification

Vendors may submit identity documents for verification. By submitting them, you confirm the documents are yours and accurate. Verification does not guarantee any outcome or endorsement.

8. Intellectual Property

The Owambe Planner name, logo, app, software, design, trademarks, service marks, graphics, text, and content (excluding user content) are owned by us and protected by law. You shall not copy, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, scrape, reverse engineer, distribute, sell, license, publicly display, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit any part of our intellectual property without our prior written permission. Any unauthorised use is strictly prohibited.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error‑free, or that it will meet your expectations.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Owambe Planner is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any disputes, losses, or transactions between planners and vendors.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new effective date, and significant changes will be communicated in the app. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict of law principles.
